Christmas Tree Program

Myers began a new tradition in December 1994 known as the Myers Christmas Memorial Tree Service. Since the holiday season can be a particularly difficult time for those who have experienced a death in the family, this tradition is offered to reinforce the love and memories of that loved one.

During this special time of the year, families are invited to call our office to reserve a personalized Christmas tree ornament bearing the name of their loved one. The family may then come to the chapel to place the ornament on the Memorial Tree (please see our events calendar for specific dates when this service is offered). A non-denominational memorial service is held in early December, and everyone is invited to attend and participate. This is a community-wide event, it is not limited to only those families who have used Myers Funeral Service, and is offered free of charge to all.
