Rosalyn Consuelo Williams was born on June 30, 2010 in Porterville, CA. She sadly passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 in Porterville, CA, at the age of 11.
Rosalyn was so amazing, caring, friendly, loving, and energetic. She had a beautiful heart and soul. She loved her family, friends, animals, and even people she had just met. She would immediately make them her best friend. She was happy all the time and full of energy and had the best smile that would light up the whole room. She was so talkative and full of life and had so many hopes and dreams she wanted to accomplish. She changed our little world here in Porterville but she wanted to change the whole world. We are so proud of her and the young lady she was becoming.
She loved to sing, dance and make videos, as well as read, draw and color. She loved Harry Potter, wearing dresses and going on motorcycle rides with her dad.
She went to Olive Street Preschool 2014-2015. Vandalia Elementary School 2015-2021: Kindergarten-5th grade. This is where she found her love for reading. She had perfect attendance through all her years and was also a Valiant Viking for her 4th grade class.
She was just promoted to Pioneer Middle School, where she only had the chance to complete the first semester. She was involved in Cross Country, Basketball and loved to participate in all school spirit days and activities.
She was a member of Girl Scouts Troop 2068. She started as a Brownie in 2018, moved up to a Junior in 2019 and most recently bridged to Cadette in October 2021. She loved all of her Girl Scout sisters and troop leaders. Every week she would look forward to her meetings to see them and learn new things. She loved to sell cookies and help others; She really was a sister to everyone she met. She and a few of her Girl Scout friends also created the Girls Garden located at the Tule River Parkway. They cleaned the area and removed weeds and brush. They dug the path for the sprinkler irrigation and also put the sprinklers together. And they planted so any beautiful plants and flowers for everyone to enjoy.
Rosalyn also was a member of the Barn Theater Junior Company. She started in the summer of 2020. She loved to sing and dance and made so many new friends. She was a part of Frozen Jr. She had the opportunity to go to a recording studio and record some of the soundtrack for the show. She loved having that experience. In June 2021, the group went to Sugar Land, Texas for the Junior Theater Festival where they won a Freddie G Award for Excellence in Ensemble for Frozen Jr. She was most recently in Annie Jr. which played late November/early December and was looking forward to going to Sacramento for the 2022 Junior Theater Festival where the group would present the show. She was also taking private vocal lessons and dance lessons to help her and the team.
There are not enough words to fully express our gratitude to everyone for all of their love and support for our family during this difficult time. We would like to thank everyone for all the love shown for Rosalyn and she will forever be in all of our hearts.
