It is with deep sorrow and much love that the the family of Peggy (Dilday, Surber) Noble announce her passing on August 27, 2024. Peggy was born on July 11, 1930 to Clayton and Bertha (Doyle) Dilday. The Dilday's made their first family home in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Two years after Peggy's birth, sister Patsy was born. When Peggy was 12, the Dilday family relocated to California. Peggy was a proud graduate of the PHS class of In 1948. She married Charlie Surber this same year. During their marriage, Charlie and Peggy welcomed a daughter Cheryl and a son Mark. After the passing of Charlie, Peggy married Bob Noble and gained another son, Michael Noble.
Peggy spent her time making a loving home for her family. She was an excellent cook and keeper of the family recipes. She loved to travel, being in the mountains, birds, her pets and spending time at the beach collecting seashells.
Peggy was proceeded in death by her parents Clayton and Bertha Dilday, her husbands Charlie Surber and Bob Noble, her sister and brother in law Patsy and Glen Cohen, granddaughter Nellie Noble and best friends Doris and Ernie Crew.
Peggy is survived by daughter Cheryl, sons Mark (Beverly) and Mike (Wendy). She was adored by grandchildren Shawna (Mark), Katie (Len), Lucas (Lorilyn), Megan (Pat), Carly (Josh), Tyler (Kristen), and Hannah. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her great grandchildren Justin, Brandon (Jessica), Demi, Aiden, Arielle, Scarlett, Presley, James , Soren, Logan, Heavenly, Nellie, Colt, Jordan, her great-great grand son Jaden and her friend of many years Donna Myer-Morrison.
As the moment has come, there are no goodbyes for us, for wherever she is, she will always be in our hearts. We will always remember the love and joy Peggy brought into our lives. We are eternally grateful for the adventures we had, the moments we shared and the memories we made together. (One Hundred Minus a Day).
