Patricia Ruth Hubbard

Patricia Ruth Hubbard age 95 years, passed away Monday December 16, 2024 after a lengthy illness.

Patricia was an active member of the Church of God in Lindsay, California. With health issues limiting her mobility she became an active member of the Jimmy Swaggart Ministry TV congregation. She enjoyed family and friends gatherings around the pool, at the park and camping trips to the beach and mountains. She was the life of any party, social skills came naturally. Her smiles were truthful, meaningful and genuinely addictive, you couldn't help but forget your woes and smile back. She loved to sing, couldn't carry a tune but knew every word or made up her own. She down played her limitations and focused on life laughing it off. Loved to cook comfort food and made the best chicken and dumplings or chili. Family and friends were a very important part of her life and she had an abundance of that. She was a member of The OB club in Porterville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Ruth Olson of Surgeon Bay, Wisconsin; in-laws, Olin and Lucille Hubbard of Porterville; siblings: brothers, Willard Olson, Glen Olson, sisters Dorthey Strum, Fay Anderson, Jonie Teskie of Wisconsin, and Donna Konkel of Arizona; son, Pastor Walter Huckaby; 4 grandchildren; several extended family and friends.

She is Survived by her husband of 55 years and 10 months, Lee Hubbard; 6 children, Mike Mills of Porterville, Linda Huckaby of Visalia, Teresa White (Bruce) of Porterville, Carl Huckaby (Dawna) of Visalia, Dale Huckaby (Janice) of Porterville, and Kathy Lewis of Porterville; 28 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; and numerous extended family and friends.

Patricia has had a wonderful life, worshipped God and taught her children well about the importance of religion, family and friends. She will be sadly missed and rejoiced in her heavenly home; until we see you again!

A Visitation will be held at Myers Chapel, 248 N E Street, Porterville, California on Thursday December 26, 2024 from 9:00 AM till 12:00 Noon. A Graveside service will be held at Woodville Public Cemetery, 17203 Ave 168, Woodville, California on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
