Naomi Ruth Blocher

Naomi Ruth Blocher, age 90, was reunited with her husband Eugene in heaven on March 19, 2024. Naomi was born in Modesto, California on July 13, 1933.

Naomi is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene W. Blocher, to whom she was married for over 72 years; and her great-granddaughter, Veda Quiram.

Naomi is survived by four children, Diana Weldy and her husband Tracy, Eugene Blocher II and his wife Karen, Melissa Puckett and her husband Bill, and Edward Blocher and his wife Dorindi; additionally, Naomi is survived by 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Naomi was first and foremost a wife, mother and homemaker, sacrificing for anyone under her care. Throughout her life, Naomi enjoyed a variety of activities including racing go-carts, extensive traveling, volunteering for several organizations, and time in the desert. Naomi had a true servant's heart and dedicated many years of service within her church. Her life was spent alongside her husband, as they enjoyed most every activity together.

Naomi was known by many and loved by all. Friends often became 'family' and if you knew her longer than 30 minutes, you became a grandchild. Her greatest joy was to be surrounded by her kids, grandkids and other loved ones, celebrating any occasion, so long as we were all together.

A Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Porterville, California on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Roger S. Good Cancer Treatment Center in Porterville, California.
