Margarita Malacara, age 80, a Agricultural Laborer and resident of Porterville, California, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 9:00 AM at the Home of Peace Cemetery, Porterville, California.
Margarita was born on June 10, 1941 in Linares, Nuevo León, México. She fell asleep in death on August 13, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Luis Malacara, and her dear son, Victor Malacara. She is survived by her 8 children: Maria, Juan, Luis, Jose, Joel, Guadalupe, Anabel and Mayra. As well as her 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. “Mami” and “grandma” as she was fondly referred to, was dearly loved and will be missed very much by her family and friends.
In 1994, Margarita’s life took on increased meaning and purpose when she embarked on a study of God’s Word, the Bible. The wonderful truths that she learned about her Creator moved her to dedicate her life to Jehovah God on August,1998. Thereafter, she devoted her time and energy to fulfilling the 2 greatest commandments that Jesus Christ taught: to love Jehovah God with all her heart, soul, strength and mind and her neighbor as herself (Matthew 22:37-39). For the last decade of her life she demonstrated that love to a fuller degree by serving as a regular pioneer, a full time minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses, teaching others in her community the good news of God’s Kingdom.
Margarita is now in peaceful sleep and in the safest place she could possibly be: in the memory of Almighty God, Jehovah, awaiting a resurrection. In the book of Job 14:14,15, Job asked: “If a man dies, can he live again?”… “I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until your relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you.” At that time she will hear Gods voice call out to her and her eyes will be opened and she will be brought to life in God’s promised restored paradise earth. A promise about which He said, “Look! I am making all things new.”...“Write, for these words are faithful and true.” A restored paradise earth where sorrow, sickness, death and suffering will be gone forever. (Rev. 21:3-5). Margarita truly believed these words. She drew much comfort from them especially in the final moments of her life.
Until then, we will wait patiently so that once again, we can embrace her in our arms!!
