Lillie Melson, age 85, of Porterville, California <https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/local/california/porterville>, passed away on December 15, 2023. She was born on April 10, 1938, in Mississippi. Lillie was a devoted wife to her late husband Kenneth and a loving mother to her sons Kenneth, Gary, Richard, and Daniel.

Lillie led a fulfilling life, always staying active and caring for those around her. Embodying a spirit of perseverance and determination. Lillie was known for her kind and loving nature, always putting others before herself.

In her professional life, Lillie worked as a Fruit Packer, Nursery Worker, and Park Manager. She took pride in her work and made a lasting impact on those around her.

Lillie loved bowling, which she did for 60 years, finding joy and camaraderie in the sport. She also had a deep love for ocean cruises, cherishing the opportunity to explore new destinations and enjoy the beauty of the sea.

As per Lillie's request there will be no services and she will be interned at Frazier Valley Cemetery with her husband Kenneth.

Lillie Melson will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
