Kenton "Kent" Wayne Bartlett, age 40, a resident of the Porterville and Springville area, passed away on September 20, 2024, in Visalia, California.
Kent was born on August 15, 1984, to Richard and Sandra Bartlett in Lindsay, California. He grew up in Porterville, attending Los Robles Elementary, Bartlett Middle School, and Monache High School, graduating in 2002. He later returned to Porterville, where he worked for the City of Porterville in both the Water Department and Parks Services.
Kent was an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his free time hunting, fishing, and camping in the nearby foothills and mountains. He also loved exploring the mountains with friends in his Polaris ATV, known as the "General". Kent was a friend to many and a stranger to no one. He was well known for dropping by unannounced for a quick visit, always bringing good jokes and lots of laughs.

He is survived by his brother, Blake, and wife Stacy Bartlett; nieces Brynn and Peyton Bartlett; Uncle Greg and wife Christi Bartlett; Aunt Stacey and husband Eddie Farquharson; Uncle Rick and wife Shona Thiesse; and many cousins.
