Erendira (Dee Dee) Witzel

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Dee Dee (NaNa) Witzel. She left us peacefully on the evening of February 8, 2024, surrounded by her children.  She was born on June 23rd, 1948 in Tulare, CA.  She married her love, Robert (Bobby) Witzel, who preceded her in death in 2004.
Dee Dee was a dedicated mother and NaNa first and foremost.  She treasured her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.   She loved cooking for all the holidays and family gatherings, as this was one of several ways of showing her love of family.  This was also her way of instilling strong family values, while also keeping with family traditions that will be carried on through generations.  She was our Rock, the strong foundation of our family; and she will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. She will always be our guiding light.
Dee Dee is the loving and devoted mother of Gina Noland and Darin Witzel.  The proud grandmother (NaNa) of Ashlee Pergeson, Hailey Noland, Derek Witzel, Dylan Witzel, and Sarah Witzel.  She was also blessed with four great grandchildren, Presley Dennis, Wyatt Dennis, Carter Witzel, and little Carson Witzel.  She was the dearest sister to Caudio Guerro, Julia Guerro, Minnie Castaneda, Claudio Castaneda, Adam Castaneda, Ray Ramos, and Juanita Ramos.
She was the loving daughter to the late Rosie Ramos; and dearest sister of the late Patrick Castaneda and Ivan Castaneda.
A Funeral Service will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, CA on Tuesday,  February 20th, 2024 at 11:00 AM.  Interment to be private.
