Elva Mendoza Lopez

Elva Mendoza Lopez, age 69, a resident of Porterville, California, left this earth to be with the Lord on October 2, 2024, after complications with Alzheimer's.

Elva was born on Aug- ust 20, 1955 in Zapotán, Michoacan Mexico to Trinidad Mendoza and Consuelo Lopez. She was the 4th of 10 children. She was a sweet gentle soul. Through her 35 years of being a Certified Nursing Assistant, many knew her as funny, kind, compassionate, and loving without limits. She was the light of her patients and of her home.

Elva leaves behind her life partner of over 29 years, Michael Diaz. Her legacy lives on through her two children, Mario Lambarena and Amanda Lucatero and her grandson, Damian Lucatero. She is also survived by her siblings, Nivardo Mendoza, Gustavo Mendoza, Luis Mendoza, Liberato Mendoza, Ramiro Mendoza, Alba Moncayo, Anabella Mendoza Lopez, Carmen Alvarez and Eldemira Mendoza.

A Visitation will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, California on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Rosary will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, California on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne's Church in Porterville, California on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Home of Peace Cemetery in Porterville, California.
