Diana J. Hedges

Diana J. Hedges, age 79, a Home care provider and resident of Lindsay, California, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Diana, better known to many as "Mom Diana", was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, wife and friend.

Diana had a heart of gold and an endless giving heart. She fed those in need, specifically serving both in Lindsay & Porterville food banks for over 20 years. She served the community via Kiwanis & Visalia Pride Lions.

She loved helping at the annual World Ag Expo concession stand in Tulare, she ran a tight ship around there. She shared her talent of knitting blankets & hats for seniors & children at hospitals. She would spread the word of the lord with Christian motorcycle clubs. She devoted over 20 years of fellowship with sewn ladies at Porterville Believers Church. She loved gardening and taking care of her flowers, but what she loved even more was to listen to her countless wind chimes on her front porch, she referred to her wind chimes as "singing angels."

She is survived by her long-time companion, Dennis Hood; sons, Arthur Holmes and Edward Gutierrez; daughter, Veronica Holmes; 2 daughter in laws; 3 Sisters; 1 Brother; 7 grandkids; 10 great grandkids; and many nieces & nephews.

We thank you Mother...for being our families' rock and loving us unconditionally.

A Service will be held at Myers Chapel, Porterville, California on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM. A Graveside service will be held at Saint John's Catholic Cemetery in Escalon, California on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM. In Lieu of flowers, kindly either send plants or make a donation to charity of your choice in Diana's honor.
