It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Alcantar Sr., a beloved uncle, brother, husband, father, and father figure. Daniel touched the lives of many and left an unforgettable mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Daniel dedicated a significant portion of his life working for the PUSD for 25 + years. Despite the challenges life presented, he never gave up on his dreams. Prior to his cancer diagnosis, Daniel aspired to become a School Psychologist, a goal he pursued with unwavering determination.
Even in the face of adversity, Daniel's spirit remained unbroken. Throughout his battle with cancer, he exhibited remarkable strength and resilience, facing each day with great resolve. In an inspiring testament to his dedication, Daniel pursued and obtained his master's degree during the course of his treatment, showcasing his unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Daniel was known for his jovial nature and a heart of gold. A notorious prankster, he could light up any room with his infectious laughter. He had a special talent for telling humorous stories, captivating his audience with every word. Daniel was undeniably the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to all who surrounded him.
In his leisure, Daniel enjoyed indulging in trivia, earning the well-deserved title of "trivia master." His sharp mind and quick wit made him a fierce opponent in any competition. As a faithful Forty-Niner fan, he shared his enthusiasm for sports with friends and family, creating lasting memories through shared victories and defeats.
