Dana Christine Cannon

Dana Christine Bernido Cannon, beloved mother, sister, and aunt, entered eternal rest on January 8, 2025 in Porterville, California.

Dana is survived by her three daughters, Jade, Jessica and Marissa; ex husband, James; brother, Chris; sisters-in-law, Dee Cannon, Patricia Sheridan and Celia Bernido; brother-in-law, Michael P. Cannon; and niece/goddaughter, Alyssa Bernido. She is predeceased by her parents, Lucina and Consorcio Bernido.

Dana was born on April 11, 1952 in Delano, CA and was a Delano High School alumnus. Dana attended services at the Church of God in Porterville, CA with Pastor Diego Campos and Chaplain, Sister Alice Escalante. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and her close circle of friends, always ready for laughter and shared adventures. Dana's artistic and culinary talents brought beauty to the world through her stunning pottery, intricate art works, and delicious dishes. Dana will be sadly missed by family and friends and lovingly remembered forever in our hearts.

A Viewing will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, California on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, California on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interment to be private.
