Clifford was born on November 23, 1932 on the Tule River Indian Reservation. He lived there all his life.
He worked as a truck driver most of his life in the logging industry. He drove a truck for Haliburton in Rock Springs, Wyoming for about two and a half years, he also worked for Hansen feed lot.
He met and married Velma McDarment and they had three children, Victor McDarment, Janice Wheeler and Cornelia Williamson. He had six grandchildren Victoria Aguilera, Jessica Tapia, Tanya McNeel, Misty Garr, Jodi Valenzuela, and Samantha Wheeler.
He had sixteen great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
He is survived by a daughter, Cornelia Williamson (David); and a step-son, Albert Hernandez. He had many half brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He was also preceded in death by his son Victor McDarment, and his daughter, Janice Wheeler.
He was well known by many, everyone will miss him deeply.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Myers Funeral Service and Crematory, 248 North E Street, Porterville, California 93257. Interment will be at Tule River Lower Cemetery on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
