Bill B. Long

Bill B. Long, 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep early in the morning on March 19th, 2024.

Bill was a celebrated business man; always pursuing his true passion in life as an entrepreneur, business owner and real estate developer. His wealth of knowledge about life, business and the Bible made Bill a cherished mentor and friend. He was quick to greet friends and strangers with a joke and somehow always left a lasting impression on those he encountered.

Bill's legacy lives on in his children & grandchildren, and the countless people he inspired along the way. The community will remember him for the indelible mark he left through his many contributions to the city of Porterville.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Long; children, Bryon Long, Claude Long, Cheryl McCrillis, Melissa Krinbaum, Cory Ward and Linsey Betts; his step-children, Kelly Nursery and Chris Nursery; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous loved ones and friends.

His memorial service will be held at Myers Reception Hall (265 North E St., Porterville, CA 93257) on Thursday, March 28th, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Interment to be private.
