Betty L. Scott

Betty Louise Post Scott passed on by heart failure on the evening of Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at the age of 91. She was born to her parents Ethel and Henry Post on July 16th, 1933.

She was a Homemaker and Bookkeeper as well as a God sent Mother to two sons: Timothy Ray (T-Ray) Scott and Gary Lee Scott, both of Porterville. She is survived by 2 of her 4 Brothers and 1 Sister; Ray Post of Oklahoma and Onis Post of Porterville.

She was proceeded in death by Brothers J.W. Post, Jack Post, and Sister Edith Post, along with her Mother and Father.

Also waiting at heaven's gate is her husband of 40 years, Billy Joe Scott, an Air Force Veteran and Contractor who was the love of her life and left this world in August 1993.

She was every bit as good as a wife as she was a mother.

She leaves behind 2 Grandchildren; Tricia Scott Malleck and Billy Joe Scott (B.J.). She also leaves behind 4 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.

Her 2 sons will miss her finger pointing and constant correction.

She will dearly be missed by her friends, family, and caretakers.

A Visitation to be held at Myer Chapel in Porterville, California on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A Graveside Service to be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Porterville, California on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 9:00 AM.
