Barbara Joan Duncan

Barbara Joan Duncan passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, in Porterville, California. She was 86 years old.
Barbara was born on July 11, 1935 to Pete and Willie Adams in Bakersfield, California. She graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1953 and later (on October 10, 1959) married Bill L. Duncan in Las Vegas, NV. She devoted her life to her children, husband, and grandchildren. Barbara was an avid bowler. She was involved in bowling leagues at both Olive Avenue Bowl and Porterville Lanes, for many years. She loved shopping, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Pete & Willie Adams; brother, Lynn Adams; son, Michael S. Duncan; and husband, Bill L. Duncan. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lori Duncan; daughter-in-law, Valerie Duncan; grandchildren, Ashley McMillan, Taylor Wilson, Kristi Henry, Michael Duncan, Jr., and Marlee Duncan; and great-granddaughter, Azlyn McMillan.
A Graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Porterville on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org .
