Barbara Jean Butler was born November 12, 1933 in Norwood, MO to Dallas and Velma
(Kelley) Robinson. She was the third of six children. As a child, she moved frequently and eventually settled in Exeter, CA where she met the love of her life, Jesse Don Butler. They were married February 25, 1950 and recently celebrated their 72nd anniversary.
Together, they were blessed to have four children. Barbara lived in Porterville most of her life and was an employee of Porterville Unified School District for 25 years.
She liked to travel in her RV and go antiquing. Most of all, she loved her family. Barbara could always be found on the bleachers cheering for her children at every sporting event. She was truly their greatest fan. There are many fond memories of the families gathered around the table enjoying her infa¬mous meatloaf, laughing and playing games.
Barbara was prede¬ceased by her parents, daughter, Debbie Ram¬sey, and son-in-law,
Lonnie Ramsey.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Don, sons Mike (Monica), Mitch (Nancy), Bruce (June), and several grand¬children, great grand¬children, and great great grandchildren. Barbara will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
