Alvis Ray Wallace

January 2, 1945 — December 16, 2020

Alvis Ray Wallace, passed way December 16th 2020 at the age of 75. He was the son of Frank and Ruby Wallace. He has two surviving sisters, Evelyn Parham and Barbara Crowell. He was preceeded in death by his parents, beautiful wife, two brothers and one sister, Charles Brown, Arnold Wallace and Deloris.

Alvis married his high school sweetheart, Ruthie Roberts in 1963. They were married for 36 years. Together they raised 5 wonderful children, Robin Simpkins of Rocky Comfort, MO. Tammy Hubbard of Ripon, CA. Mark Wallace of Los Osos, CA, Stephen Wallace of Seligman, MO. Brianna Wallace of Porterville, CA. He has 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many more who called him “Papa Alvis”

Alvis was born and resided in Tulare County for 70 years where he spent 29 years working for the Porterville Public School District. Alvis and his family moved to Bolivar Tennessee in 1975 to 1980 where they engaged in the ministry work. Alvis was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 50 years. He fully believed in the Bibles promise found at Revelation 21:4. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will morning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” He will be dearly missed and we look forward to seeing him again in a perfect new world.

Due to the restrictions currently instituted, the family will host a virtual memorial service on Jan 2nd 2021 at 2PM.
